Delete your Radar account
You can delete your Radar account, and everything in it, at any time. It is final: a deleted account can’t be recovered.
How to delete it
- Open Radar and go to Settings.
- Tap Account.
- Tap Delete account, and confirm. If you signed in with Apple, you confirm on Apple’s sheet.
Without the app: write to support@radar.place from the email address you sign in with, and ask us to delete your account.
What is deleted, at once
- Your profile and picture.
- Your posts and replies, with their photos and videos, and the replies other people wrote under them.
- Your likes, saves, responses, stamps, follows and blocks.
- Your home.
- Your notification tokens.
- Your Feedback conversation and its reports.
- The photos you sent in conversations.
What is kept, and for how long
- Messages you sent stay in the other person’s inbox, shown as from a deleted account, without your name, picture or profile.
- Reports you filed, and reports about you or your posts, are kept without your identity for 90 days.
- Backups and security logs are kept for a limited time after that.
- Records of use and diagnostic reports, held by our analytics and error-reporting providers, are erased when you ask: write to support@radar.place.
Deleting some of your data
You can delete some of your data and keep your account:
- A post or a reply, with its photos and videos: open its menu (•••) and tap Delete. It is gone at once.
- Records of use and diagnostic reports: write to support@radar.place and we’ll erase them.
Everything Radar holds about you, and why, is in the Privacy Policy.
